The man who had invited by Roderick Usher, his old friend. He went to The House of Usher. He found a strange house and the strange owner, Roderick and Madeline Usher. He thought that they was going mad. Roderick believed that the house was the reason for his sister and him strange illness. One day, Madeline died, she was buried in the tomb under the house. One night, seven or eight days after they buried Madeline in her tomb they heard strange sound and the door opened. They found Madeline stood. She fell toward her brother and crashed heavily to the floor. Both of them died. The man escaped from the house before the house was destroyed by a great wind.

The old man told the story to the man about him and two brothers that happened 3 year ago. He told the story of the Maelstrome or the other name is the Moskoe-strom ; the great whirlpool. The old man and his two brother fished around the islands of Moskoe and Vurggh on good weather. In the afternoon, the wind and the sky changed and there had a great storm. His younger brother knocked into the water. The wind was taking his boat toward the whirlpool. Both of them were scared. When the boat was inside of the whirlpool, it was wonderful and terrible at the same time. He saw the moonlight, a rainbow and everything moving down slowly. He realized that smaller things went up to the sea. He left his brother because his brother too afraid to move. Then he said goodbye and jump alone. The boat found and took him out of water by his old friends. But they did not remember him because his black hair was white, and his face was completely changed. Monstresor, the man who hated his friend name Fortunato. He pretended to be friend and he wanted to punish him. Both of them liked wine and knew a lot about it. One evening of this time, He got a plan to punish his friend. He met Fortunato at the party and told him that he bought a special type of wine called Amontillado and he did not sure it is real. Fortunato offered himself to proved it. Monstresor accepted and went to his house together. A barrel of  Amontillado was kept in the cave, deep under the house, near the family tomb. Monstresor leaded to the end of the cave and locked both hand of Fortunato with metal ring in rock. He was building stones while his friend was screaming and than laughing. At last, he did not hear anything from his friend, he quickly finished his job. Monsieur C.Auguste Dupin and the man who told this story were a friend. They lived in the house  at Faubourg St. Germain. One evening, they found a strange story in newspaper. There had a mysterious murders in the house of Madame L'Espanaye in the Rue Morgue. Madame L'Espanaye and her daughter, Mademoiselle Camille L'Espanaye were murder. The police and neighbors found a body of Mademoiselle Camille L'Espanaye in the chimney in the room on the forth floor and the room was locked from inside. The furniture was broken but nothing missing. They also found body of Madame L'Espanaye on the small yard behind the building. The neighbors heard two strange voices, one voice was a Frenchman and another one was very loud and not clearly. The police could not solve this mystery. Dupin and the man went to the Rue Morgue. they went to the room on the forth floor, looking around and looking closely at the window. Then they went into other rooms and into the yard. Dupin understood that how it happened and who was a murderer. The murderer was an orang-utan. Parisian sailor brought it from Borneo. That night it run away from his room and went into the house. It killed two woman and the sailor was a witness. Later, the sailor caught the orang-utan and sold it. Dupin and the man told the Chief of Police everything. The mystery in the Rue Morgue was solved by Dupin.

The Minister D stole a very important letter from the royal apartment. The Chief could not find it so he asked Dupin for helping. Anyone who found the letter will received a lot of money. The Chief made an agreement to share a half money with Dupin.
