As a child, Ms. Verde kept a piece of chalk in her pocket and a skate key around her neck. She was (and still is) very spontaneous. 
Fact 2: 
Ms. Verde enjoys finding inspiration and writing it down just as she did as a child with chalk on a sidewalk.

In addition to writing, Ms. Verde also admires yoga, while teaching physical and mental mindfulness to children of all ages.

It helps her feel grounded and helps Susan calm her mind. Yoga definitely helps her writing and when she feels stuck it helps her and makes her feel less overwhelmed. 
Fact 2: She takes interest in many genres but currently favors picture books. 
Fact 3: Susan's ideas come from lots of places but mostly from an attention to both the world around her and the world within her. She is very connected to the kid in herself and she think's that she bring's a lot of that little girl to her stories. Susan also pay's close attention to what her own children and those  she interact's with are going through.

Fact 2:
 Throughout Mrs. Verde's life, she could always count on yoga to rely on whenever she was struggling. Mrs. Verde clearly has a very strong passion for yoga. As a young girl she participated in yoga, and not as a respected woman not only does she participate in yoga but actively instructs classes. 
Fact 3: 
Susan is also a song writer. She has co-written some songs that are on iTunes. She finds that "finding the music in you" is one of the most important concepts in life. 
Question: From my understanding, you seem to be very zen-like and peaceful. Is this because of your childhood?
