Real learning doesn't occur in a classroom.

It is common knowledge that when we say school or classroom it is always associated with learning. But does learning only happen in a classroom? The answer to that question is no. Because learning can happen anywhere and everywhere. When we first open our eyes as a baby and know nothing of this world. And little by little we came to learn how to walk, cry, play and speak, just by watching and listening to our surroundings. Basically, it is in our nature that we are constantly learning because we are curious beings. And we have our own ways of learning and different kinds of techniques that we use to effectively learn. that will result in real learning that will be carved in our minds forever. Moreover, the classroom is just an instrument to guide us in learning. We will not achieve real learning if we are just clinging to the classroom. But what we should do in order to achieve real learning is to bring the knowledge we have gained in the classroom and experience it ourselves outside.
In conclusion, we don't learn everything in the classroom, outside is where we learn almost everything and experience is the key to obtain real learning.

What human quality do we need more of and why?

Human qualities differ from person to person and are unique in their own ways. But, there are human qualities that are vital for our everyday life, that each person should have. First is empathy, we need this quality to know and understand other's feelings and to see things from their viewpoint. Because we encounter and interact with people every day that's why this quality is essential to connect to a person and build positive relationships. The second human quality that we need is passion because it gives an individual a drive to commit their desires in life. Without this, we will do things with no commitment that will lead to a poor outcome. Another human quality that we should have is, being responsible because we encounter obligations and promises, committing to them, and doing our best in completing all our promises will make our lives more satisfying and complete. The last human quality that we should all have is respect because without respect every individual will do what they wanna do without thinking about the welfare of others, thus leading everyone into conflicts.
In reflecting on this question, It made me think twice about what qualities I am lacking and what I should need to improve. Honestly speaking, I am not a passionate person and I do things half-heartedly because I easily get distracted and lose focus in what I do. But I think finding my passion in life will improve this quality of mine.

Is Humanity going to the Right or Wrong Path?

Everyday we are greatly challenged by the trials of life and we lived our life based from the decisions that we make everyday. But as a whole, are every person living on earth walks the right or wrong path? This question is very difficult to answer because each person has their own beliefs and goals as they walk the path of life. However, based from my observation of the world today. There have been many issues that we are facing right now. One of this the siege of the US capitol, where there have been riot and violent attacks against the US congress. This have made me thinking, are the people penetrating the capitol in the right path or not. Will their actions led them to the right path? There are no concrete answers to that. But what I notice about the issues today are greatly influence by technology and authority. First, technology because as technology improves our lives it also affects our behaviors. Social media platforms made people toxic, bashing people everywhere and anywhere. And people became addicted to technology, scrolling always in the internet and gadgets stuck always in our hands. And this I think affects our lives negatively. Lastly, authority because what I see in the government and other person holding high positions, they use their power to their advantage that will lead very person to be lost in the right path.
In conclusion to this, I believe that we should focus on this two subject matter and change our ways in order for us to not be lead to the wrong path rather we can find hope in finding the right path.

Gettysburg Address

Last Tuesday, we recited the Gettysburg Address by Abraham Lincoln and it was very nerve cracking even in virtual setting. Gettysburg Address was my second speech that I delivered in public, the first one was a short speech about the Nazi regime that I recited when I was in grade 10. I was very nervous that time that when I am delivering my speech my body was sweating very hard, my heart was beating intensely, and my mind was like a puzzle that have been shattered in confusion recalling each stanza of my speech because of nervousness. It was hard indeed but I am glad that I got to experience that because now that I recited the Gettysburg Address I was able to correct all the things I was lacking in delivering a speech and was able to calm myself just a little. This was a great achievement for me because I was able to gain some experience that will help me improve my public speaking skills.
Now that I have finished reciting the Gettysburg Address in front of our virtual class. I discovered how I can comfortably and effectively deliver my speech and it was to be imaginative of the speech and taking it to heart, like I was Abraham Lincoln telling the audiences the sacrifices of many men to obtain equality and freedom. In delivering the Gettysburg Address, being imaginative was the key for me in suppressing mental block and nervousness. It made me focus more in the story of the speech rather than being nervous just by watching the audience. Hopefully, this technique can help me also in reciting my own speech and also in other speeches to come.
