The Key of Assertiveness

Firstly, a teacher needs to be assertive in their teaching style, which means making sure their own needs are met whilst taking into account the needs of their students. One way they can do this is by setting out clear rules and guidelines that all students must follow, and if these expectations aren't met then consequences will occur.
Secondly, positive affirmations should be provided when students do the right thing, and this should be the focus rather than on negative things.
Thirdly, make sure a student is punished if they do something wrong, however console them and try to teach them how to behave appropriately.
