         <title>John Jacob Astor</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>John was born Johann Jakob Astor in Germany on July 17, 1763.When he was 16, Johann moved to London with his brother George to work for his uncles piano and flute manufacturer.In London in he learned English and adopted the name John.After the revolutionary war,&nbsp; John migrated to the U.S and began purchasing fur hides from the native Americans. He would prepare the hides himself and sell them overseas for great profit.By 1790 he had his own fur trade store in New York, but still sold fur overseas.In the 1830's he withdrew from the trade business and began purchasing real estate of New York until he died in March of 1848.<br>Source:Wikipedia</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Drew was born in New York in 1797.He enlisted and was drilled, but never saw combat during the war of 1812.Around 1834 Drew entered the steamboat business, purchasing shares of boats operating on the Hudson.Around this time Drew also began his work in stocks.He gained his finances by manipulating the stock prices of the railroad and was successful as a stock broker.Ultimately his partners, Jay Gould, and James Fisk, betrayed Daniel Drew and resulted in him losing everything, and filing for bankruptcy as he was over 1 million dollars in debt.<br>Source:wikepedia</div>]]></description>
