One thing at Lyonia is the trail, the trail is a ancient beach. That was my favorite part. Another thing that I liked was learning about the sea animals there. There was a sea urchin, sea cubumbers, and a starfish. There were fish in the tank but I was look at the star fish. At the end I got to feel the sea urchin, the sea subumber and the star fish. One one thing that I learned the most was that that bob cats can eat 3x it weight, I thought it was the raccoon. I think that was tremendous that we could see that because, I never saw a turtle hole that deep before. Also we saw 2 SCRUB JAYS UP CLOSE!!! Which the person that lead us all over the hike said it was rare for them to be that close up. I enjoyed learning about the bobcat, diamondback rattle snack, raccoons, quail, and Florida's native bear. A cool fact about the raccoons is that their baby's are called kits. I enjoyed seeing alll of the snakes and the blue tongue skink and the bearded dragon. I liked this because I like reptiles and have a bunch of them. I enjoyed hiking the scrub and the aquarium. I liked hiking the scrub because we got to see insects ad huge ants everywhere, cacti, and we saw the scrub blue jay, which is the only bird in Florida that’s ONLY in Florida. It was a nice day to hike as it wasn’t hot at all. I also enjoyed the aquarium because we got to touch starfish, sea urchins, and sea cucumbers which felt strange and different! I saw baby alligators,  and snake skin! I learned that with all of these animals that their mouths are on the bottoms of themselves. One other thing I learned is that the sea urchin will use their spikes to scare of prey.
