TikTok, for instance, is known to feature millions of short form content featuring information which is made up and can be misleading. This includes information about politics, government policies, and conflicts.


According to Capitol Technology University, TikTok took down tens of millions of flagged videos thanks to third party collaborations, so its current shortcomings are only the tip of the iceberg of the false information in the sea of short-form videos.
