My Bachelor's degree is in Choral Music Education and I served as Junior High Choral Director for 4 years. For more than 20 years, I've served various churches in North Carolina and Virginia as a Worship Pastor, then completed my Masters of Divinity in Christian Ministry at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. This is my second semester as an instructor in the Religion area at Nash Community College. I enjoy spending time with my family, music, live theater, college basketball (Go 'Heels), reading and traveling.

 I enjoy the beach and the lake for vacations. I love to fish it is my favorite hobby.

I am about to graduate in May with my associates degree in Criminal Justice Forensic Science. Afterwards, I will come back to get my double major in Criminal Justice Technology and once I am done with that I will join the basic law enforcement training (BLET) here at Nash as well. After the BLET program I will hopefully start working with an agency and go from there. I'm currently a full time student and also work full time. 

I am not a big religious person so this course will be a little different but interesting to me at the same time. On the other hand my family is big on religion and are Catholic's. Although, I do attend mass whenever they invite me to go with them to show respect to them and God.  

Religion to me is a hard topic because I have so many questions and doubts about God and the things he does.
