         <description><![CDATA[<div>The word derives from the Greek word demos which was used to describe a full<br>citizen body. There are two different types of democracy. Representative Democracy and Direct Democracy. Direct Democracy references to full body citizens making decisions. &nbsp; In Representative Democracy citizens pick other people to make decisions for them. Athens is known as the birth place of Democracy. Athens used Direct Democracy as opposed to the American Representative Democracy. </div>]]></description>
