Every year, many people visit the city to see the parade of floats made by students. The floats are big, colorful, and full of lights and music. Students work for months to build them and prepare dances.

In 2025, the festival will be on October 11 and 12. On Saturday, there are music shows and the election of the Queen and Pimpollo. On Sunday, there are parades during the day and night, and the best floats get prizes.

The festival also has bands, dancers, and comparsas, and people from all over Uruguay come to enjoy it. It celebrates spring, creativity, teamwork, and joy, and is one of the most loved festivals in the country.
