I’m Nobody! Who are you?
Are you – Nobody – too?
Then there’s a pair of us!
Don’t tell! they’d banish is – you know!

How dreary – to be – Somebody!
How public – like a Frog –  
To tell one’s name – the livelong June –  
To an admiring Bog!

• “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

• “Run far, run fast.”

• “Monkey see, monkey do.”

• “Open heart, open mind.”

Ha stanze simili a cedri,
impenetrabili allo sguardo,
e per tetto la volta
perenne del cielo.

L’allietano visite dolcissime.
E la mia vita è questa:
allargare le mie piccole mani
per accogliervi il Paradiso

Both blank verse and free verse are free from rhyme scheme. But, whereas blank verse does have a consistent meter, usually iambic pentameter, that creates a du-DUM rhythm effect, free verse is free from both meter and rhyme. It is free from the limitations of verse poetry.
