Years of research have established that children learn their first language over time by acquiring different language patterns. The language acquisition process can vary from child to child depending on various situations; however, most typically developing children are often found following a biological timetable to learn different aspects and grammatical structures of their ambient language. Various research has been conducted worldwide to investigate the fascinating process of children's language acquisition. This poster examined some morphological and syntactic aspects of a 35-month-old Bengali-speaking girl's children's data.

Case Marking

Nominative case marking- ami (child utterance: Ami kori,ekon daraisi ami) ‘Ami’ refers subject .

Instrumental case marking- Diye (child utterance: eta diye ki kore? Eta diye ki dekhe? Eita diye ki banay) ‘Diye’ refers means or instruments.

Locative case marking- Okhane ( child uttarence: oi je okhane oshud ache) ‘okhane’ refers location

Possessive case Marking-Oder (child uttaerance: oder sofa) ‘oder ’refers to possession

kaner (child utterance: ehane etta kaner dul koi?) ‘ Kaner dul” showing possession)

Amader (child utterance: Amader basay kapor asche) ‘amader’ means possession here.
