A) The first strategy that I would use would be RULE. For RULE I would use this an essay part of the test. Rule stands for R-read the question U-underline key words L-list or outline major points E-emphasize details for each point. W-write the answer E-evaluate the answer. This strategy will be most effective when the student are answering open ended questions. On my test I would ask when may a student will take a jump shot in the game? The RULE strategy will help the student answer all parts of the question in complete detail.

FLEAS

The second strategy that I would use would be FLEAS. FLEAS- First read the directions carefully, Look over the test, Easiest questions should be answered first, Answer questions that are worth more, Skip a question if you are stumped. When students are taking a test they should have a strategy when they are taking the test. This will maximize their time and will make sure they do not have to rush at the end. When the teacher gives an end of the unit test they should use this strategy to help them get the best grade they could.

The last strategy that I would use would be SPORT. SPORT: Say to yourself-where? Picture in your head. Organize in your mind. Remember to “dump” all the information. Tell yourself that you need to go back. This is a great way for students to think about information that they have previously studied and discussed in class. From there they will need to get it all on paper. Next they are advised to read what they wrote down, and add to anything they may have forgotten. This strategy is important because it will force the student to answer the entire question, to the best of their ability.
