Being a black prelaw student and underrepresented, I have not yet questioned am I good enough to stand in a class with more white people than black, but the conversation tonight is very helpful, and it allows me to hear other people stories, but leads me to think and prepare for cultures of law schools. My question was specific to thinking about a dual JD program and Delisha answer was direct because realistically extra thousands for something a bit irrelevant is crazy so keeping JD may be my path if I’m not fully funded.

I was in the Latinx break out Session and honestly loved it. I learned so much in just "going for it" how our individual stories can make a impact beyond just the numbers we bring to the table. It was inspiring to have East Los Angeles representation that expands beyond California. Thank you for sharing and inspiring us back here at home.
