• Affected users warned of upcoming DOWNTIME, login changes (their barcode @reader.lib.cam.ac.uk), and that they will be able to set this up after GO LIVE

• Help page published on library website

• RS to support readers' enquiries, and reassure they can't set up new password/account until GO LIVE

(CHANGEOVER WEEK)

Affected users will not be able to access:

• iDiscover (C&C/eNARs will be open to all, all day)

• Library PCs

• Print Kiosk (RR can print for users via email)

• Online registration

But will be able to access:

• UniOfCam Wi-Fi

• In-person registration

• Affected users receive email from Microsoft to set up password & MFA

• UniOfCam terminated

• Posters/ handouts/ CircULator/ staff cheat sheets/ labels with instructions around UL

• RS & Reg to support readers' enquiries, cover staff to assist RSD

• MFA setup troubles to be handled by custom UIS help page

• UniOfCam-Guest will have the option to log in as a 'Library Reader' - this allows access to e-resources

• Printer credit will be transferred to 'new' accounts

• RSD staff will be temporarily unable to top up on users' behalf at the desk (i.e. through till with cash/card)

• Reg staff can add new identifier barcode@reader.lib.cam.ac.uk in CLiPS & send setup email / password token to new users

~4K users have active library accounts and have logged into iDiscover/Desktop Services/UniOfCam in the past 2 years

2K Camb_MA, 1K Readers, 1K others

NOT current staff or students with CSRid@cam.ac.uk
