Why this word stands out: I've noticed in the garden that there have been so many vibrant green plants surrounding this one plant that is missing their petals and seem very lonely in comparison. With the aspect of the rain and the surrounding environment of the plant, I get a sense of loneliness from this individual plant as it stands out from it's surroundings.

I was worried at first, but it felt like the rain was welcoming me outside. I found two small white flowers in the bushes. The rain would be a welcoming source of water for the two flowers. One seemed to be wilting, which is sad, but the other flower was still in bloom as if to keep the other flower company. I think the photo could represent hope when it feels like we are alone. Nature welcomes us in unexpected ways and keeps us company even on a dark, rainy morning.
