However our muscles can absorb only a certain amount of protein, the rest is used for other functions or pee'd out. <br>Have a look at the abstract of the study in this link and get an idea of how much protein you should be eating per meal for maximal muscle growth (assuming you consume 4 meals a day). Note it down here.<br><br>One should consume protein at a target intake of 0.4 g/kg/meal across a minimum of four meals in order to reach a <em>minimum</em> of 1.6 g/kg/day.</div>]]></description>
