The poem is about a very strong person that enjoys carrying elephants, but he isn’t he strongest of his family because whilst he carries his elephant, his grandmother carries him. This poem symbolizes a person with hardships, and a wiser person that can help him. I picked this poem because although the literal definition is funny, but this poem has a pretty helpful message that you could use when you are working with other people

I am Super Samson Simpson,

I’m superlatively strong,

I like to carry elephants,

I do it all day long,

I pick up half a dozen

and hoist them in the air,

it’s really somewhat simple,

for I have strength to spare.

My muscles are enormous,

they bulge from top to toe,

and when I carry elephants,

they ripple to and fro,

but I am not the strongest

in the Simpson family,

for when I carry elephants,

my grandma carries me.

In this poem, the poet, Emily Dickinson referred to hope as a bird. She said that she was in terrible conditions, in the middle of a storm. Even in these sad conditions, the bird never asked for a crumb from her. This symbolizes that hope is never greedy, and is a companion that she will cherish forever. I chose this poem because it shows how much hope can do, and shows that hope isn’t greedy. (This is Jenny’s)

Soon the garbage reaches so high that it touches the sky. All of Sarah’s friends go away and all her neighbors move away. Finally Sarah says that she will take the garbage out but it is too late . The garbage reaches across the state from New York to the Golden State. From now on Sarah will always take the garbage out.

The title of this poem was, Sad Poems about Love. This poem tells us about if things don’t go right you get sadness and you still need it and their is happiness in your heart for an important reason. This is my poem: How can there be pain in a place where there is so much joy? A loving relationship is the most awesome experience in the world. This is why it also holds the potential for so much sadness. There are so many things that can go wrong. We must remember, "Better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all." If we have this attitude we can hold ourselves together during the hard times and rejoice that we have this awesome gift during the good times.

Source: https://www.familyfriendpoems.com/poems/sad_love/

My poem is a quote from “A Tribute to Tyrone”, by Kily Dunbar, I liked this poem because it expresses that the past is the past. Here it is: A thousand words won’t bring you back, I know because I’ve tried, Niether will a thousand tear, I know because I’ve cried. This poem could be motivational for someone who lost a loved one.
