Odysseus was supposed to marry a girl but he went down to the shore and tried to remember who he was and he remembered sailing and going through a big storm where the boat started flooding. They then reached an island and they found a cave and Polyphemus was the owner of that cave son of Poseidon and Neptune. He Wanted to eat the Greeks but the Greeks made him wine instead until he was drunk enough for them to escape.

Odysseus on the day of his wedding goes to the shore where he washes up on and has 2 memories of his past. One of his memories is when he was sailing with his men on a stormy night. They had to throw overboard resources like food and metals to stay afloat. They also had to drop a statue of Poseidon overboard. His second memory is when they snuck into a cyclops home and ate his food. As they finished their feast and started to take his food the cyclops arrived. He traps them in his cave so they can make more wine and they come up with a plan. When he came back a drank loads of wine, he fell asleep. They use his spiked club and hit his eye, permanently blinding him. They get away.

I believe the shipwrecks were a form of symbolism in the film. In the beginning, Odysseus's ship got sunken by Neptune which caused him to fall into amnesia. Then, Cercia wrecked his men's ship when they attempted to leave her island, symbolizing Odysseus's realization that he wants to go home to his kingdom, wife, and soon. Seeing his mother in Hades and her telling him that she died waiting for him also contributed to his realization.

Determination brings victory. This is my level two claim because Aeolus, Krones, and Athena all had the determination to find success in their lives. Krones proves this level two claim because of his determination Krones became the king of all gods. Aeolus had determination and immense strength to help Odysseus and countless heroes and gods. In conclusion, all of the powerful and important gods all had the determination to succeed and bring victory to their lives.
