WHAT IS THIS FOR?
Our project consists of creating a set of cards, each one containing an artwork or creative project you feel attached to and a reflection you want to share around it. After receiving your submissions we will print the cards and arrange them on a 'pick-a-card' pinboard which will be placed in the GCD studios inviting the students to pick the card of another peer. 

This project has the aim to introduce and connect you to another course member through the sharing of its relationship with his favourite work of art. This iconic painting has a huge meaning for me. The first time I saw it I was 17 years old and I was visiting Amsterdam with my family. I was living a tough period of my life and I bumped into the painting felt that everything in it was representing the way I was feeling. Is almost as if I'm telling my story through this piece and I enjoyed the experimentation with different mediums.

I love the bright colours and clear line work, as well as the bold facial features that are so characteristic of her work.
