BACK ON TRACK

February 21, 2022

Hello Monday!

Eyy journal! How you doin! Well me? I’m still kinda keeping myself afloat with the reality that last week has finally concluded. Oh wait, let me rephrase, I am happy that arguably the busiest week of my life finally concluded. That was one heck of a busy one with countless learnings as well to the extent that I can even write a whole book about how the recent week went - that’s how long and substantial, in lots of ways, it was!

Anyway, today went pretty smooth, talking about my Monday. I started going over the outputs of Grade 10 - Consunji, but still did not begin checking since a number of students have not been able to pass yet. The busiest work I had to cover today though were the Learning Tasks. I kinds propelled through it since our time with XUJHS is nearing its end and I had to work my butt off with the LTs.

It was a slightly busy Monday, but considering how hectic last week was? Today was pretty chill.

Anyway, gotta get to my rest, Journal! See you around, Journal!

LTs HITTIN TUESDAY

February 22, 2022

Seeking progress with dem Learning Tasks

Well hello there Journal! I just wanna share that I’m still in shock with the reality which points to the nearing of our Internship Journey’s end with XUJHS (In-Campus). To be totally honest with you, I really can’t help but be disappointed thinking about the WHAT IFs? With how extremely memorable my time with XUJHS has been, I cannot help but ponder, had this been a F2F? It would’ve been way better even.

Anyway, today, Journal, was pretty much the same yesterday. I went over some works of my students, but again, the busiest I got was when I started working on some Learning Tasks again. Well, we have 15 LTs tk accomplish and 12 of those are to be passed around 2-3 weeks as part of the Midterms Requirement. Overall, the day I had today was pretty much a replica of what happened yesterday, Monday.

Gotta work on more LTs, Journal, see you later!

The best gift I can give myself for a somehow productive starting 2 days of the week is a little bit of relaxation, you know, a way of taking care of the mind and keeping myself sane despite the heaviest of requirements.

Today though, it’s not necessarily super chill since I still had to work on on some Learning Tasks and assisted some classmates, who are interns, with their tech runs as well, but, I only kept myself busy for the first half of the day. The moment afternoon took over, I was sleeping and now, it’s 8pm, and I am writing my Journal.

Considerably, it was still a productive outing for me today, despite really delving into that spectrum of relaxation, nevertheless, I got to do a lot and make progression in the smallest of steps.

See you around again soon, Journal. I’m outta here!

LENDING HAND

February 24, 2022

Laying assistance during Ma'am Gab's Demo

Journal! I know this is a cliche, but, you do know that no man is an island, right? Even the most independent people, or so they claim, get help from different folks just so they can cross each bridge needed to be went through. Journal, in this world, networking is essential - seeking help and being humble enough to recognize that you need a hand are must-haves for this world to not devour you alone.

Today was a manifestation of how teamwork makes the dream work, Journal! I just extremely love the group I am in right now - with Maam Jayla, Maam Gab, and most essentially, our dearest CT, Maam Adeva! Today was Maam Gab’s demo day and due to the uncertainties delivered by the Internet as well as the electricity, we had to be of help, of course, we did it willingly and with much happiness know that we were able to assist our fellow intern, simply, because that’s what this group is all about - lifting each other upward. Basically, we were introduced by Maam Gab to her class and me and Maam Jayla introduced ourselves to the class. Maam Jayla presented the slides and I did the monitoring of attendance as well as responding as a way of assuring Maam Gab that she’s very much audible.

Journal, helping Maam Gab turned out to be a great experience since not only were we able to observe and learn from Maam Gabriela’s teaching ways, it gave us supreme satisfaction as well being able to assist and make sure nothing would go wrong with Maam Gab’s Final Demonstration Teaching, more so that we know how huge of a deal it is to us interns.

Gotta rest now, Journal! Byeee bye and see you around! ❤️

FRIDAY FRIDAY CHILLIN'

February 25, 2022

Holiday Thangzcxs

Hey Journal! You know what, I hate seeing overly workaholic people where they forget the time to unwind and rest? Well yeah, working hard is good, but that’s all not gonna matter when you can barely keep your sanity because of it, hence, the high need for unwinding and resting is a massive must!

The unwinding was pretty much what happened today, Journal! Yes, I still maneuvered through some Learning Tasks and added some missing information, of course, also went over, in the slightest, some Q3 outputs of Grade 10 - Consunji. However, that’s all about it in terms of what I did today. You could say that I have been least productive today, however, in terms of taking care of my mental health? Making the rest to keep my mind afloat with sanity? I can say that I was productive. Additionally, we didn’t have our usual Friday sesh with Maam Nads, and it was odd to not be able to share my week’s update, but still, it’s all good since I got to rest.

As I write, it’s 7pm, and I think I’ll do a little bit of the Learning Task still before I do my Friday Thangzcxs, but, I can say that I am productive during this beautiful Friday!

See you next week, Journal! Take care because we’re not gonna converse for a little while 💙
