Fernpaw then turned and bounced toward the entrance with a grin, "Come on slowpokes!" he called back over his shoulder, then he turned back and slipped out of the camp and into the brightly-lit forest. It was gut-wrenching, blood-chilling, heart-stopping, fur-raisingly horrifying. Scarlet blooded welled up on the mark, staining Fernpaw's pelt crimson. Green eyes glazed over and turned cloudy.
