From How should I to Raise a Black son in America?
* The theme of this podcast is blackness has a different set of rules. Meaning that being black and having fun with friends, messing around, you would have to dial down and control yourself because of you skin color, you wouldn't be able to get away with things.
*His dad tells him that the people who live in the Projects aren't their because they were forced into it.
*He said that he is thinking about the conversation with his son that his dad had with him, he is thinking about how to say these things. That it is not his sons fault that what is happening.
*There may be a day when black dad don't have to have these conversations with their black sons.
From How does Racism affect pregnant women and babies?
*Black women in america are 4x more likely to die during childbirth than white women.
* Being concerned can effect your health, like for instance being worried about being pulled over by police when you are black.
*

-theme
-central idea
the video talks about how some cities in Mexico are very different to the cities in the US. The man who is in the video, struggles to go to collage anywhere. He moved to the U.S when he was 5, he then completed his whole school education up until he graduated high school. The only problem was that he had no papers, because he was in the U.S illegally. He decide was that he would try and go back to the town where he was born. When he arrived there he was denied collage education because all of his papers were in English, and very few people in the small town spoke enough English to understand the papers about his education.

For example, they talk about not just going to jail but getting sued over, assumptions about people, and much more.
-surprising information- I was really surprised with the ratios and numbers that are recorded and how high they are. Studies show that the numbers are decreasing.
