My teacher was also great, her name Mrs. Realinger, (I think) she helped all of my classmates,  and let us play on the 1st - 6th grade playground on fridays. She retried about 4 to 5 years after I had her, and she is living a good life hopefully. It was my first time in a public school (I was in private schools for pre-school) and she really made me feel like I belonged. She had a playhouse that we were allowed to play in and there were SO. MANY. BOOKS! I loved reading, even from a young age, and my teacher gave me my first chapter book, The Littles. She also had audiobooks that we were allowed to borrow. I had two really close friends, Claire and Clara, and we would play together at recess. There was this pine tree on the playground that made a little shelter. That was our 'spot.' In the winter (I lived in Colorado at the time) we would slide down a hill through the snow. Another thing I remember is burying myself in the sandbox. Unsuspecting children walked on top of me and I was bruised by the end of the day. I also remember having my tooth being loose, and my friend told me to apply force to get it out. I proceeded to bang my head against a table. One last thing I remember is the mini bikes on the playground.
