As he describes, “his act being seven ages,” explores the phases we go through, from being an infant to becoming old. There are specific characteristics that we are going develop, like "his shrunk shank' and his big manly voice." Along with certain experiences that mark each of these phases like "jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel, seeking the bubble reputation". Inevitably, we are all going to experience aging and that we take on new roles till the day we die.
