Nuclear fusion is a nuclear reaction in which two or more atomic nuclei come very close and then collide at a very high speed and join to form a new nucleus. During this process, matter is not conserved because some of the matter of the fusing nuclei is converted to photons (energy)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_fusion

An important fusion process is the stellar nucleosynthesis that powers stars and the Sun. The fusion of nuclei in a star, starting from its initial hydrogen and helium abundance, provides that energy and synthesizes new nuclei as a byproduct of the fusion process. Different reaction chains are involved, depending on the mass of the star (and therefore the pressure and temperature in its core)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_fusion

Hello, My name is Ashley Frederick an today I would like to show, the world my discovery on the use of nuclear fusion and how it works. Some of you may heared of nuclear fission and think there the same, there not. Nuclear fission is a process used to create energy. It is when an atom splits apart into smaller atoms. The process gives off a lot of energy, and is used in nuclear weapons and nuclear reactors.
https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_fission

With rising gas and oil prices and also global warming being a major issue in the world today nuclear power ,(nuclear fusion)decreases that rate. The use of nuclear power have grown rapidly , so in this can help slow down the process of global warming by using less fossil fuels.
https://www.thebalance.com/nuclear-power-how-it-works-pros-cons-impact-3306336

Disadvantages of Nuclear fusion and nuclear power.

The main disadvantage of fusion is that no scientists have been able to contain a fusion reaction long enough for there to be a net energy gain, but nuclear fission is already producing 11% of the worlds energy needs.
1. An accident at the plant could release radioactive material into the environment as a plume (cloud-like formation) of radioactive gases and particles. These particles are then inhaled or ingested by people and animals or deposited on the ground.(leads to illness and death)
2. Disposal of nuclear waste is a huge disadvantage. Low-level waste comes from contact with the nuclear fuel in day-to-day operations. It is disposed of on-site or is sent to a low-level waste facility in one of 37 states.
