This belief strengthens faith, spiritual awareness, and responsibility, helping Muslims understand the spiritual system. Key angels include Jibril, Mikail, Israfil, and others.

To strengthen this belief, study Islamic teachings, internalize the role of angels, and apply it in daily life.

Adab, or proper manners in seeking knowledge, involves showing respect towards teachers, being humble, and sincerely seeking to learn for the sake of Allah. A student should never hesitate to ask questions and should listen attentively, as seen in the behavior of angel Jibril during his interaction with Prophet Muhammad. Learning requires patience, politeness, and the acknowledgment that knowledge comes from Allah.

The Quran as a Holy Book:

The Quran is the central religious text of Islam, revealed to Prophet Muhammad. It contains guidance on all aspects of life, including spiritual, ethical, and social matters. The Quran emphasizes the Oneness of Allah, the role of prophets, and the final Day of Judgment, serving as the ultimate source of knowledge for Muslims.

The benefits of appreciating nature include spiritual growth, improved physical and mental health, ongoing charity (Sadagah), sustainability, and fostering an ethical society. Islam teaches sustainability by promoting responsible resource use, avoiding waste, using renewable energy, consuming ethically, conserving water, and preserving nature for future generations.

In Islamic teachings, sustainability is part of worship and fulfilling God’s trust. Acts like planting trees and conserving water are considered ongoing charity, benefiting both present and future generations. These actions also ensure a healthy planet and offer rewards in the afterlife.

Through my participation in Usrah, I’ve grown spiritually and personally, but I also see areas for improvement. Usrah has deepened my understanding of Islam, helping me strengthen my connection with Allah, especially through prayer and reflection on the Qur’an. However, I need to improve my mindfulness during worship and increase my dhikr.

In terms of personal development, I’ve become more aware of my character, striving to be more patient, humble, and kind. Time management remains a challenge, and I aim to be more organized. Usrah has also heightened my sense of social responsibility, encouraging me to engage more in community service and live more sustainably, though I know I can contribute more actively.

While I participate in discussions, I can still improve my confidence in sharing ideas. Moving forward, I aim to enhance my worship, personal discipline, and community involvement, and I pray for strength to apply what I’ve learned in Usrah to become a better Muslim.

The saying:

لحِكْمَةُ ضَالَّةُ المُؤْمِنِ فَحَيْثُ وَجَدَهَا فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا

translates to:

Wisdom is the lost property of the believer; wherever he finds it, he has the greatest right to it.

• Recite with calmness and reflection.

• Visualize standing in the presence of Allah.

• Regularly engage with the Quran.

• Strive to gain knowledge and seek guidance.

• Comprehend the meanings of the recited verses.

الَذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ خَشِعُونَ

Meaning: They who are during their prayer humbly intent

•Submission: Reinforces devotion to Allah by cultivating obedience.

• Struggle in His Path: Encourages effort in maintaining faith and pursuing righteousness.

• Reflection: Promotes self-awareness, personal growth, and accountability.

• Modesty: Shields from sinful actions and nurtures self-discipline.

• Humility: Develops sincerity and enhances good character in dealings with others.

1. Purpose of Fasting:

Fasting is commanded by Allah to instill taqwa (God-consciousness) in believers. It helps individuals gain control over their desires, cultivate discipline, and build a stronger awareness of Allah's presence.

" O you who have believed, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become righteous. (Quran 2:183)

2. Timing of Fasting:

Fasting is observed during the holy month of Ramadan, from dawn until sunset. During this time, believers must abstain from food, drink, and other physical needs as an act of worship and devotion.

Zakah (obligatory charity) and Sadaqah (voluntary charity) serve to purify both wealth and the soul, eliminating greed and selfishness while encouraging generosity and compassion (Tazkiyyah). They also cultivate trust in Allah (Tawakkul), as giving charity demonstrates reliance on His provision.

Moreover, these acts of charity strengthen the bonds of the Muslim community (Ukhuwwah) by fostering unity and a sense of shared responsibility. Surah Al-Zalzalah (99:7-8) reminds believers that every deed, including charity, will be accounted for on the Day of Judgment. By addressing the needs of others, charity promotes brotherhood and helps build a caring and supportive society.

In essence, Zakah and Sadaqah are not merely financial contributions but spiritual obligations that purify wealth, deepen faith, and strengthen communal ties. These practices are vital for establishing a just and compassionate society, ensuring mutual support and unity within the Ummah.

Tadhiyyah and Hajj are deeply intertwined, symbolizing Prophet Ibrahim's devotion and willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah. As part of Hajj, Muslims perform Qurbani (the act of sacrifice) to demonstrate submission, humility, and selflessness, while also sharing the meat with those in need.

Gaining Taqwa from Hajj

Hajj nurtures taqwa by purifying the heart, fostering complete submission to Allah, and increasing His remembrance through sacred rituals such as Tawaf (circumambulation) and standing at Arafat. It promotes humility and equality, reminding pilgrims of their accountability before Allah.

Conclusion

Hajj enhances taqwa through acts of worship and self-reflection, while Tadhiyyah highlights obedience and selflessness. Together, they strengthen a Muslim's faith, devotion, and connection to Allah.
