Even if it is already engaging and relevant, you can always improve it with one or more of these shifts.

Authentic Work is probably the shift that stands out most to me. It's odd how many non-relevant tasks traditional curriculums ask of students. Teachers need to own the role of curriculum designers and not depend upon any given curriculum to meet all 4 shifts
