During my first few weeks volunteering, I barely stayed inside the pods since I felt awkward standing besides the nurses, but you have shown appreciation to my volunteering and made me feel comfortable working alongside you. When I first started volunteering I didn't know anyone, but the nurses and employees all treated me as their own. One of the things I like best was how they all asked me questions about my life instead of talking about themselves.
