3. Omitting centers/independent practice from the format since most of our individual lesson planners have a designated area for these.

Since some grade levels are simpler TEKS and others are very deep. ]]> 2016-09-13 20:44:47 UTC https://padlet.com/mdumas2/lessonplan/wish/123615968 and First Grade Team jmcafee1 https://padlet.com/mdumas2/lessonplan/wish/123923740 We are afraid that the lessons will be so long, they will be difficult to read.  Right now the lesson plans are about on the average 25 pages long.  Already some of us use a quick check format (copying a shortened version of lesson plan by hand). Are these supposed to be "scripted" word-for-word what to say?
Standards  WE already put the TEKS on plans so why do we also need put the Standards?
Independent Practice (stations):
Difficult to do for literacy stations/math stations as we do not change these every week and may vary between classrooms.
Small Group (Teacher Table): This varies between classrooms and limits flexibility with guided reading groups.

We feel this is redundant in that it is already listed with the TEKS posted at the top of the lesson, the lesson objective, and the lesson plan itself. It is taking hours to convert our plans from the old format to the new format.

Vocabulary
Materials/Resources/Links
Instructional Plan
Assessment
