feral children & police brutality

Topic: Feral Children

The Qualitative data for this topic is the case study of Kamala and Amala, who were captured by wolves at a young age and were then raised by them. A witness account shows that they saw the "cubs" with a mother wolf, but they seemed to have long matted hair and certain human features. Once they were rescued, the two young girls were taken to an orphanage where they were described to have "wolfish" tendencies and overall lack the ability to behave themselves as a human should. The quantative data regarding this topic is a case study of the feral child "Genie". Genie's social worker and a team of psychologists began to run multiple tests on Genie to see if the isolation she received had major impacts on her language development. https://www.verywellmind.com/genie-the-story-of-the-wild-child-2795241https://www.edubloxtutor.com/amala-kamala/

Topic: Police Brutality

The Qualitative data for this topic is the known fact that attitudes towards police officers vary from different ranges based upon who you talk to. Multiple generations have a generational trauma of the simple fact that an officer has killed or injured someone they love close to them, typically in communities where the economy is set up for failure. In 2014, a young African American man, 18 year old Michael Brown life was cut short by a Ferguson police officer. Quantitive data on this topic is the different groups of people who were surveyed on what they believe regarding police brutality. https://pro.morningconsult.com/articles/most-voters-see-police-violence-as-problem# https://abcnews.go.com/US/half-us-killings-police-unreported-study/story?id=80303407 ( Kimesa A. )
