This document show how the divorce can have a impact on children's behavior. To continue, it has show the number of divorces have been steadily going up over the past few decades and impacting over 1 million children every year in the USA. Furthermore, divorce can impact children behavior in many different ways depending on certain factors such as their age, relationships with parents and coping strategies. Also, the document suggest the hardest time is when the parents separate to separate living arrangements and after the divorce. Causing it to be the most difficult time emotionally and behavioral for the children.

Qualitative Data:

This UK study wanted to know if parents divorcing or separating has a impact on 5 year-olds. They used information from the Millennium Cohort Study, to find out that divorce is tougher for kids from happier parent relationships, causing behavior issues for the children. This can also be found in temporary separation has linked behavior changes for kids as well.

Quantitative data: This study of 15 countries uses the employer- employee data to illustrate the gender gap. This can be seen with job differences can play a part in the pay gap on other hand in the same job, men and women still face unequal pay. Fortunately, over time the overall pay gap and within-job gap has seen notable decline while some countries have seen some increases. The results highlight the need to have fair pay compensation for workers for both genders and make sure hiring and promotions are done fairly to achieve equal pay for men and women to stop the economic division between genders to keep on persisting.

Qualitative data on this topic is the adults viewpoint on watching the children grow up along with social media and how its impacting their social life. Teenagers and young adults are stating how they see a huge decrease on their wellbeing. Catherine Steiner mentions how kids are missing out on many things that the media can not provide for them in a positive way.

The Quantitative data is that in a research that consisted of 296 healthy 2-5 year old's (52% boys 48% girls), (and 224 mothers from the LIFE Child cohort study were analyzed. Screen times and parent–child interactions were assessed using standardized parental questionnaires. Developmental skills were investigated using the standardized development test ET 6-6-R. High screen times in children (>1 h/day) were significantly associated with lower percentile ranks but the kids who had less screen time had a higher percentile rank with education.
