Volunteer fashion parade like Christmas Pageant by Telethon Channel 7.

The parade will advertise fashion from all over Australia and well known fashion companies from all around the world.

Volunteers can join the parade and wear their home made costumes or volunteer to model for the fashion companies.

Volunteers must complete the applications to participate in the parade.

Workshops are stationed in an area to teach people who are interested in fashion on how to sew, nit and make small items.

Application: Volunteers must put there names, address, phone number, email, mobile number.

Children must be minimum age of 8 to participate since some people don't want children to become models.

Lead of group or volunteers who want to help advertise a product must come to the meeting 3 weeks before the parade date.

Volunteers must tick a box to notify if they are advertising for a company or making their own clothes.

Music is included therefore, personal PDAs, boom boxes are not allowed.

Limited room for volunteers to advertise a product.

This event will be broadcast live on AM radio through a 'radio booth' that will be set up at the festival.

The broadcast will include live music from local talent, interviews with artists/contributors to the event, and messages from sponsors.

The broadcast will allow people who are unable to attend the event to experience it in some way. It will also allow us to attract sponsors in order to receive critical funding.

Twitter Feed:

The live twitter feed will act as a broadcasting service to those young 'millennials' wishing to access content on their mobiles and computers.

The feed will consist of information about ongoing competitions/results and information about the day's events.

We will use the hashtag:

#experienceperthculture

This hashtag will be plastered all over the festival. It will be everywhere.

The twitter feed will also provide links to photos/video that will be taken throughout the day by people with cameras roaming the festival.

People will be able to share their photos with the #experienceperthculture and these will be displayed throughout the day on screens around the festival.

The purpose of the broadcast channels is to allow people to interact and share their talent online/over radio.

As the broadcast is live and dynamic, it will also be helpful in providing ongoing and updated information for patrons throughout the day.

Photographers can take pictures of events and the fashion competition

Illustrators can design print images, posters, pamphlets and banners.

This will be to a Facebook event, in which people can invite their friends to the event (C.A.A.F- Cultural Arts Appreciation Festival) and see the video/photos/articles about the festival. Facebook uses many forms of advertisement, through actual ads and events (this event particularly). It can allow for others to read info/times/dates for the arts event in the hopes of attending. This can allow people to send in videos and media to promote the festival- in artistic ways.

The promotional video aims to be interesting to the audience and portray what will happen at the arts festival- to attract people to come. I will create an interesting, colourful and creative cover photo presenting a vast array of arts skills to present to the people. People can send in clips of themselves to contribute. This video could be showed on television or shared on YouTube for people to see.

The festival will contain a combination of entertainment, radio, food and drink and music to cater for all the people. The video will be presenting this to the public to interest them into coming. This form of media is relative to a younger audience, more situated on the internet, aiming at promoting it outwards to a larger range of people.

People won’t always want to do reviews at a festival so it will be brief – plus minus interesting cards, place them into a large box at my stall.

I will also include stories from all of the individual events of the day, the fashion parade, the art wall, the international foods, the art competition, with plenty of examples of public interaction.

Interact with the public, get names of those contributing the most.

It is important that I put examples of public names and interaction to get interest in the story. If people think that their name will be published in the paper they will be more inclined to read it.

The importance of my review is to recap the event, and ensure it is portrayed positively, in the hope that we could do the event the next year and it will be remembered, making more people feel inclined to come back next time.

Purpose: Advertising INDEPENDENT (+Multicultural) writers, poets, artists, designers, cooks/chefs, young broadcasters, performers

We will hold a local art competition from the submitted art on the advertised newspaper article on our festival.

The competition will present different variety of arts from collages to mosaics and sculptures.

Judging the different arts will be a few critics voting on how well it is constructed, presented and it’s overall feeling.

1st place receives a 20% voucher discount from Jackson's Drawing Supplies, as well as a hamper of selected groceries from local supermarkets such as IGA and Coles as well as a trip for 2 and accomodation for a weekend to the Art Gallery of New South Wales .

2nd place receives a 10% voucher from Jackson's Drawing Supplies and a $100 voucher for Coles.

3rd place gets $50 voucher for Coles and $10 voucher for Jacksons Drawing Supplies.

Auctions will also be held after 5pm for the adults and will be on the most well received pieces of art.
