Math-in computer science, math gets used but it is not pointed out or singled out as much as the other letters of STEAM. Students use it in planning their designs and programs and altering their programs and designs.

Why:Math is used in so many different ways in my class that it is hard to point out to the students, and sometimes they are using math beyond what they have learned and it is hard to explain it to them as they may be doing it. There are also moments in different lessons where students can improve what they are doing with different types of math but it feels that it would take too long to go over and explain since they haven't learned it, that I just pass over it.

I have lessons in my Robotics class where students make the robots follow lines. I can have students measure the lines and measure the rotations of tires to try to get an exact rotation to plug into their program.

I do spirographs with Robotics as well, I could attempt to teach higher geometry to have them figure out exact shapes of the curves.

In my computer science class When students are creating webpages i can have them work on percentages for when they put in floating boxes on their webpages.
