1. Yes wind is a source of energy. Wind energy is generated on massive wind farms with several wind mills. The mill uses the power of the wind to create energy which is then used all over the Earth.
2. The purpose of a wind mill is to create power from the force of the wind. The wind mill can also be used to do farm work.
3. Wind mills were used to do farm work such as pumping water of grinding. While wind turbines use the wind to generate electricity in a generator.
4. Wind turbines use wind energy to generate power and electricity in the generator within the wind turbine.
