I tried inductive approach to grammar teaching in my class, and students are learning the grammar rules through the group work with their teammates. I hope that students can know how to use certain sentence structure through grammar teaching.

I believe that teaching grammar is important, because it helps build the explicit knowledge that learners need to understand how the language works. I think of PPP first when thinking about explicit instruction.

I believe in the grammar teaching since simply noticing is not enough. We need to make sure students notice the right grammar points we want them to focus and the form they noticed is correct. In this case, we need grammar teaching. And most of the time, I think in an explicit way.

I believe in grammar teaching because I believe meaning making relies on a certain level of grammatical competence. Through grammar teaching, I hope to provide students with the structures and resources that they need to express meanings effectively in real-life communication.

Yes, I believe in grammar teaching. Teaching grammar explicitly or implicitly will help students to be able to mimic and finally internalize the rules. This is especially important to teach students at the beginner level because without instruction in grammar, students might struggle to use the correct and understandable form to make meaning across.

Without grammar, there is no language! Given this importance and the research that says without a focus on form in the classroom, learners don't develop as much in their accuracy as they could with teaching, then teachers have to figure out a way to teach grammar effectively. This doesn't mean teaching a set of rules per se, but to help learners develop a sense of how to use grammar for their own communicative needs.
