    Young female Native American girls are raised differently than the boys by their parents.  They are raised to be the leaders of the family and to pass on the language and culture of the people.  It's an important responsibility for the tribe as a whole to ensure that each Apache girl grows up to be a responsible Apache woman.  For that reason alone, parents make sure to raise each young Apache girl to:

    As far as being raised as a young Apache girl, there are not a lot of differences in how my brother or I are raised! Our parents show us each day how much they ove and care for each of us. I know that as young lady and young man, we have responsibilities to uphold the teachings of our Apache elders. I have my responsibilities and my brother has his.  Neither one of us is more important than the other, but I do know that each of us is encouraged to:

Finally, some people may think that Apache girls are raised differently from Apache boys, but that's not entirely true. Yes, there are responsibilities for both girls and boys, but each share in her and his responsibilities to learn to be a proud member of this tribe.  Parents raise both boys and girls to respect

First, girls are raised differently because they can be emotional and get like a little hug or kiss from their mom or dad but when boys get emotional, they get yelled at and the parents tell them "don't cry, boys were supposed to be tough and strong."
 
Second, when girls clean they do the house they clean inside the house only like, dishes, sweep, mop, cook, and etc, but when boys do that they have to go outside and pick up the trash, cut the grass, and move thing where they need to be moved.
