         <description><![CDATA[<p>I enjoyed reading this article because it explained how Earths water has come from meteorites and comets, which I had never heard of before. I found it interesting that scientists can figure this by studying minerals in rocks and comparing them to the water on earth. I agree with the author that understanding where earths water came from can help us understand where life on earth began. It also makes you realize how valuable water actually is, and makes you appreciate it more. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I enjoyed reading this article because it helped me understand why we function so well. For instance, when it talked about how we are the right distance from the sun. And then explained what would happen that if we were too close most of our ice would be frozen but if we were closer, we would be at risk for a "scorching surface," like Venice. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I found this article interesting because it explained the different theories to how water could have arrived on Earth. It makes sense that comets could have brought large amounts of water to Earth, but it seems weird to me that asteroids could have brought as much water without significantly damaging Earth's surface. Despite hyperactive comets being quite rare, I still feel like they majorly contributed to the water on Earth.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I learned that most of the water on Earth probably came from asteroids and comets that brought ice to our planet after it formed. I also learned that scientists study the types of hydrogen in water, called isotopes, to figure out where it came from. I enjoyed reading this because it made me realize that something as simple as water has an amazing story that connects Earth to the rest of the solar system. It was interesting to see how science can uncover events that happened billions of years ago and help us understand the world we live in today.</p>]]></description>
