My journey started as a wide-eyed Nineteen year-old hoping to have a college life that involved football and academics. Soon, it became evident that football was not going to work. I decided to transfer home shortly after. This period of my journey was one of the most challenging and it motivates me to keep going and to never quit.

After a rough start, i decided to enroll at Northwest Arkansas Community College so i could continue getting college credit and figure out what exactly i want to do with my life and career. NWACC provided me a great educational experience and allowed me to grow as a student, i would not be here at the University if it was not for the help of NWACC. Soon, it was time to move on again, leaving NWACC was tough because i had a good rhythm going but the next destination seemed all but certain.

When it was time to move on from community college, I knew I wanted to stay local. Being an Arkansas native, coming here to the University was an obvious choice. So far, it has been shaky at times but ultimately college is about moving forward because it is a marathon, not a sprint. Currently, I am enjoying my classes and having great success in most of them. I hope to continue this trend through the next couple of years and graduate as a proud alumni of the University of Arkansas.
