A Way of thinking of the world where everything comes from one singular source and people see this source as "perfect" and people want to be "perfect".

Imagine that this source is the sun, and the further away from it u are, the darker it is meaning its cold, but you want to be warm, so to get closer to the light, you have to be "good" in order to get "warm" or in this case, "perfect".

something thats helped me is talking to other students in the online calls, and hearing them explain it in their own words which makes me think about certain things differently which I think ultimately helps

The two world theory is a key aspect within the philosophical theory of Neoplatonism. With the main consept being that there's two worlds, one physical, the other metaphysical. With the physical world being an imperfect copy of the metaphysical, ideal world.

The hypostases are the higharchy within the metaphysical world, in which one would transcend to getting closer to 'The One,' the creator of everything within the universe.

Something that has hepled my learning across with term is the slidshowes used to explain the key aspects of each theory and principle. I found that taking notes on the slides, and putting the information into my own worlds has helped me a lot with my internal.
