The One Love and beauty combined into one. Strives to be close to the one to achieve true happiness. Intellectual experience of humanity expanding into the direction of the one.

Two worlds, we live in the Puppet world.

Hypostases - The One, Nous, The intellect.

The belief that everything stems from the one. The thing that created everyone and everything.

There are two seperate realms, one spiritual and one physical. The Realm of the Forms, the forms being the perfect embodiment of a concept. Knowledge is important to reach the Realm of the Forms - soul is tethered.

Ideas:

A deprivation of natural urges and desires.

The Dual Nature of Love - love embodies two seperate contrasting ideas: one represents the body, and one represents the soul. The body influenced by carnal desires, where the soul desires are spiritual and noble relationships which relates back to the theory of forms. These two love types are eros and agape.

Divine Beauty - beauty of the human soul that emanates from 'the one' relating back to the theory of forms. "External reflects your internal."

Imagine that this source is the sun, and the further away from it u are, the darker it is meaning its cold, but you want to be warm, so to get closer to the light, you have to be "good" in order to get "warm" or in this case, "perfect".

something thats helped me is talking to other students in the online calls, and hearing them explain it in their own words which makes me think about certain things differently which I think ultimately helps

The hypostases are the higharchy within the metaphysical world, in which one would transcend to getting closer to 'The One,' the creator of everything within the universe.

Something that has hepled my learning across with term is the slidshowes used to explain the key aspects of each theory and principle. I found that taking notes on the slides, and putting the information into my own worlds has helped me a lot with my internal.

The Dual Nature of Love:

Eros (spiritual) and Agape (physical). One represents the body and one the soul. Relative back to the theory of forms. Originates from Plato's Symposium. Agape is the carnal desires. Eros is wanting to move spiritually toward the realm of forms.

Two world theory:

A world, containing two seperate realms - one spiritual and one physical. Relative to the realm of the forms - the forms is the entire and a great embodiment of a concept. Knowledge is key! Everything in the physical realm is a reflection of a corrosponding form; a more perfect form.
