In 1994, there was a big earthquake in California. It was called the Northridge earthquake. It had a magnitude of 6.7 and was felt for miles and miles. It happened at around 4:30am when I was about to wake up. I thought someone was dragging my bed around, but who could it be? I was living alone and I was terrified! That is the biggest earthquake I have ever experienced.

One natural cause that happened to me was when I was on my island we were trying to go shopping for food and we were warned by the people "hey watch out there might be a tsunami today" and I wasn't paying any attention because I thought he was being sarcastic but a few moments later the tsunami siren roared across the whole entire island so we just got in the car with our grocery and picked up some family members and we raced on the highest mountain we can find so we got their and we were safe it was a pretty big one but no one was hurt because everyone was on top of the mountain. That is one of the worst natural disasters that happened to me

One day, I woke up and my bed started shaking. I don't quite remember when it happened but my bed started shaking the second I woke up! I was caught off guard and it suddenly stopped. Though it was a small earthquake, I never experienced an earthquake I actually felt.

In 2018, it was the first earthquake I ever felt in California. It had a magnitude of 4.9 and I felt it on the couch sitting watching youtube while my sister was babysitting me. The time that it happened was 11:00 though 12:00. I was just watching youtube and then I felt something shaking and I was a bit scared and tell my sister what happened and said it was an earthquake. It was the first time I ever felt an earthquake!

One natural cause I've been in is a tornado. One day my dad picked me up from night daycare school. And there was a tornado warning. At first it was raining when he picked me up from school. Then when we arrived at home and the tornado was on its way. I didn't understand what was happening but I knew it was scary because my dad carried me and covered my head with his hands. we were all in the restroom my dad,aunt, and my grandparents. I was extremely curious and I looked outside and I saw a tornado. I then knew exactly what was going on. then the next second boom. it was raining viciously. and I was barely 5 years old and I cried from the loud noises. my grandma held me in her arms as everyone was trying to stay calm. the next morning we went outside and we saw trash everywhere and even some houses were torn apart. this was the first time I had experienced a natural disaster.

I was sitting with my family when the earthquake hit. It was just two years ago and we all felt the shake that it caused and everything was shaking and everything went quiet. It wasn't big but we could all feel it and it passed by quickly but I never felt an earthquake before and this was the first one that I felt.
