Provide cooking classes to teach how to prepare healthy foods.

Have food drives
- Work with local farms to donate excess produce.
- Obtain less aesthetically looking produce that may not be  sold.
- Have "pay what you can" food drives so that community members can afford healthy food and the profits can be used to further healthy food access and education.

Have a health conscious grocery store in the community.
- Use volunteers to help deliver groceries directly to households.  Some community members may find it hard to travel to the grocery store.

Distribute flyers containing information regarding healthy, low cost food options.
- Hand them out in community and at Aldi's.

Provide cooking demos within grocery stores, at the Mona Center, and throughout the community to teach what foods are healthy and how to cook them.

Provide nutrition and healthy food education at an early age within schools so that community member grow up with a health conscious mindset.

Specifically, access and knowledge about what is healthy and whats not. According to the statistics we've extrapolated from CountyHealthRankings we see that PG county has a higher percentage rate of adult obesity, diabetes prevalence, and food insecurity compared to the state of Maryland's. These findings confirm our interviewee's concerns about the lack of healthy foods in the area. From the data we also find lower high school graduation rates which can assume to hinder people from knowing what food is healthy or not. We also found demographic statistics on PG county, we see that the majority of the population is African American.
