Perseus: Medusa was a creature who could turn anyone who looked at her into stone. Perseus approached Medusa and used the reflection in his shield to view her without looking directly at her.<br>6. Hector: The greatest warrior for Troy in the Trojan War, it is said that Hector killed 31,000 Greek fighters.<br>7. Bellerophon: Bellerophon is one of the top 10 Greek heroes in mythology for his success at slaying the Chimera, who was a monster with a lion’s head, a goat’s body, and a serpent’s tail.<br>8. Aeneas: Son of the goddess Aphrodite, Aeneas was a leader in the Trojan War, fighting for Troy against the Greeks.<br>9. Orpheus: Went to the Underworld to get his wife back.<br>10. Theseus: During his reign, men and women would be sacrificed to be eaten by a Minotaur; a half-bull, half-man creature. To stop the sacrifices, Theseus would be one of the sacrificed men to enter the labyrinth to kill the Minotaur.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Chimera: Lion with a tail as a snake and a goat on his back.<br>2. Cerberus: three-headed dog<br>3. Minotaur: muscular man with a bull as a head<br>4. Medusa: lady that had eyes that can turn people to stone and hair that was seven snakes<br>5. Scylla: She had a body of fish, a female upper torso and dog heads protruding from her neck.<br>6. Charybdis: She looked like a huge whirlpool and at its bottom, her monstrous mouth with huge, sharp teeth were waiting to devour any ship and sailors on it.<br>7. Sirens: The Sirens were poultry with a female head. They were living in the seas. Their power lay in their upper body appearance: they were beautiful, young women and had a charming voice when they sang. They used their singing to lure sailors who were passing by their island and slaughter them.<br>8. Stymphalian Birds: The Stymphalian Birds are man-eating birds with beaks of bronze, sharp metallic feathers they could launch at their victims, and poisonous dung.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Temple of Zeus: People living in Ancient Greece would build temples for the Olympians so that they can worship them.<br>2. The Parthenon: If you read Percy Jackson, you should know what the Parthenon is. It is kind of like a temple. But no worshipping. Just dedicating to Athena, the greek goddess of wisdom.<br>3. Odeon of Herodes Atticus: Odeon of Herodes Atticus is a stone theater structure on the southwest slope of the Acropolis in Athens, Greece.<br>4. Temple of Hera: Like any other temple, this is where the people of Greece would worship Hera, the greek goddess of motherhood.<br>5. Temple of Artemis: Temple for the Greek goddess of hunt, wild animals and the moon.<br>6. The Great Theater of Epidaurus: In terms of acoustics and aesthetics, this ancient theater is believed to be the perfect theater of all time, containing an auditorium.<br>7. Temple of Apollo: temple for the god of prophecy, light, music, and the sun.<br>8. Stoa of Attalos: The architectural marvel, the Stoa of Attalos, was constructed as a gift to Athens in return for the education that Attalos received there. It was built by King Attalos II of Pergamon who ruled between 159 BC and 138 BC.<br>9. Temple of Hephaestus: temple for the blacksmith god.<br>10. Erechtheion: The temple got its name from a shrine dedicated to the Greek hero Erichthonius, who was mentioned in Homer’s Iliad as a great king and ruler of Athens.</div>]]></description>
