On June 20 1789, the members of the French 3rd Estates took the Tennis Court Oath in the tennis court which had been built in 1686 for the use of the Versailles palace. The vote was not to separate and to reassemble whatever necessary until the Constitution of the Kingdom is established. The Estates General were called to address what was going on in the country, but it was stuck that the general couldn't do anything about it in May 1789, this is because they wanted to see if they can vote by order or by head, which would increase the power of the Third Estates, which would led them to outnumbered the other two Estates .
