In our centre it helps us with public safety, and with municipal services without the municipal services i think our daycare wouldn’t be open. When they’re closed due to blizzard we always have to be closed for our children in our care to be safe.

The Qikiqtani Inuit Organization is a designated organization representing the rights and interest of Inuit in the Qikiqtani region of Nunavut

QIA supports organization and daycares in Qikiqtani region by funding new infrastructure, providing operational subsidies through Kakivak Association, QIA helps licensed daycares with operational costs
