         <description><![CDATA[<div>one day a man had a plan to make a dam over the mouth stopping the flow of water keeping it from running back into the sea. this turned out to be a huge disaster as drought came and the murray was drying up. This caused salt to rise up from deep underground up to the water table.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>In addition to this, other practised also aided in the destruction of the murray darling including clearing vegetation and overgrazing. this destruction stopped vegetation that once&nbsp; sucked up salt from the river and leting it spread killing other vegetation. Due to the mouth closing, water&nbsp;still wouldn't flow back&nbsp;causing more drought and more salt.<br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
