In this paper the research focused mainly on the broad question of whether a subconscious bias is something that can possibly exist in someone. The research used an implicit association test (IAT) which was an exam participants could take to see if they had prejudice. The results found that many of the participants did indeed have some from of bias which they were not aware of consciously.

In this paper a content analysis was done on a series of popular rap songs. It found that the songs had a large amount of misogynistic themes in them. This is conserving becaus rap is one of the most popular music genres especially amongst the youth.

This paper focuses on the physiological factors that play a role in our subconscious. This paper demonstrates that our executive functions and subconscious play a huge role in our decision making and thought process. One specific part of the brain is responsible for implicitly categorizing something as good or bad based off of the information it takes from its environment. This implies that external factors such as music may affect how we view others.
