The three books that I'm planning to read this year are, "Drama" by Raina Telgemeier, "Where the woods end" by Charlotte Salter, and "Dealing with dragons" by Patricia C. Wrede. The book that is new to me is "dealing with dragons" and the that is going to challenge me as a reader is maybe "Dealing with dragons", because this book if more of a fairy tale and I don't really read a book with dragons in it and royalty stuff too, so I think it going to be kind ok for me.

1.One of the books I read for this unit is "Took" by Mary Downing Hahn. The three bullet points for mind are.
2.(setting)West Virginia, live in the countryside,
3.(Characters) Daniel, Erica, Auntie, mom and dad, school bus driver,
4.(Theme) Trust can’t be true and that it can be true to some people, not all. 1. And for the three bullets for Heart work are,
2.(Throughout the story,I really empathized is maybe Daniel because he loses his sister in the woods and he was supposed to look after her but he didn’t. So he thought that his sister would of came back but didn’t.)

3.The one way I felt for Daniel the most when he felt bad for leave the doll in the woods because he hates when his sister is talking to that doll but she has no friends at school and people make fun of her, and it's his younger sister so he kind of felt bad.

4. I wonder how the story would have gone differently if Daniel didn’t listen to her conversions with the doll, or he didn’t follow her to the woods or maybe he was nice to her younger sister because it would really change the story.

Windows and mirrors
The book I read in this unit is "Sisters" by Raina Telgemeier.
This book is a window because its a experience that people might had like a bad relationship with their siblings and then finally they get along. I know this because in page 14-15, It says, "Anyways do you have colored pencils? Amara says. Raina responds, What for? Amara answered, The trip. Were gonna be in the car for a whole week in both directions. Raina says, Nope, no colored pencils here. Now get out." In this quote it shows that Raina doesn't want to give the colored pencils to her sister. Another quote is in page 43 and it says, " Aww, man! my batteries are dead! Amara, can I borrow your walkman? Raina said. Amara respond, Can I borrow your colored pencils?" In this quote Raina wanted batteries from Amara but Amara wanted the colored pencils from Raina, so nobody gave anything to each other. One last quote is on page 156 and it says, "You always have to steal my thunder!! Raina says. Whatever you haven't drawn all week! Amara said. Raina respond, So?!" In this quote it shows that Raina is jealous that Amara showed drawings to impress her cousins and it worked.

One of the books I am going to introduce is "Guts" by Raina Telgemeier. My expectations for this book was good, because it was a pretty nice book to read, and I really like graphic novels so that's why I give it a good. This book is about a girl named Raina who struggles to get over her fears and anxieties about bathroom issues, it takes place at home and at school. The characters are mom, dad, grandmother, one younger brother, and sister, and also Raina's classmates Michelle and Julie. I recommend this book to whoever wants to read it.

What have I learned about my reader identity is that I enjoy reading graphic novels, because its more easier to read and I like how the characters look (cartoon + anime) and how much I didn't know that I like to read .
What I've learned as a reader is that I don't like very thick books to read and I don't like books that are hard to read and that their are some books that fun to read.
