Recently, an extension I was using to read the stories changed it's domain hence I could not download any more. I went into settings to try changing the domain of the extension to match that of the new domain but all that I got was an option to migrate my chapters to that of a new extension. However, after migrating, I lost all my downloaded chapters.

They were still on my phone's storage but they could not be read by the app since the api's of the new extension stored them in different folders under different names.

Hence I have to manually go into the phone's storage, copy the folder containing the chapters into the folder of the new extension, rename every single chapter to match those provided by the extension and then manually refresh every single chapter in the app before I see them listed as available once more.

There's another app I hear my friends also use and this resolves the problem differently.

The app I'm using is no longer under active development and hence I have to resolve any issues I have with the app myself. In this other app, when a change is detected it prompts the user of a major update and prompts them to use a new extension or sometimes, updates itself in the background without the user even noticing.
