I don't understand why Nate wants to be in a broadway show. Because you may see someone on a show, but people don't all of a sudden become famous because they were on a broadway show once. I believe that you need to be known for more than one thing to be considered famous. For example when someone wins "The Voice", after a week nobody cares anymore. That's why I can't understand his intentions.

On page 60 in "Better Nate than Ever" by Tim Fererle, when signing up to audition for the show he needs to have a parent/gaurdian signature if he's under eighteen. Although Nate didn't really have a choice I found Nate actios stupid, making it funny. He used his brother's ID to fill out the information, and say that his hieght is geneticly inherited. Now I don't know what he was thinking, but the people reading the form aren't stupid, they'll know he's not 21. But that won't be a problem for him, because jdging by his prevoiuos actions in the book, he'll always find a way around conflict.

No, it's more of a character vs society conflict. Nate lives in an unknown town in Pennslyvania where no one cares about broud way exept himself. So it's not just between two induviduals.

On page 124 and 125, Nate gets a tex from "Rex Rollins and Casting Company" that they had made a mistake when calling people to stay and sing. I totally did not expect that to happen, because the way the book made the fact that Nate was retuning home sounded very promising. That was very nice of an aspect on the authors part. I actually wanted him to return home because I was curious how everyone would react. But as I know Nate can always find a way out of his troubles whether its luck or his thinking. It's a very well made of a character trait, and I want to see what it can affect later on in the book

Page 110 has a really funny event. When Nate was auditioning, he was asked if he had any special skills. He had decided to walk on his knees, but when he was bending his knees his jeans pushed against his crutch, making him unable to do it. I found it comical due to how random it was. That's what's so intresting about the book. It's sense of humor makes it stand out from any old dusty novel. This style of story telling should be implemented into more books, because the style n a lot of them seem to 'normal'.
