The soil created from a good compost is the secret to a beautiful garden. Worldwide, waste generated per person per day averages 0.74 kilogram but ranges widely, from 0.11 to 4.54 kilograms. Though they only account for 16 percent of the world's population, high-income countries generate about 34 percent, or 683 million tonnes, of the world's waste. Love and miss you!]]> 2020-05-15 17:54:23 UTC https://padlet.com/marymartin7/lv7x5yfy8rpy7lcj/wish/575726458 brandypledger https://padlet.com/marymartin7/lv7x5yfy8rpy7lcj/wish/575848937 Today I have composted and watered my indoor plants which help recycle the air in our home We have our windows open instead of wasting electrical energy.  Last, we have a garden planted so that we cut down on energy waste.  Why does that cut down on energy expenditure?  trucks that drive the food long distances to get to the stores, then the gas you spend to go buy the produce, the refrigerator you keep it in to stay cooled, and the chemical pollution that occurs in the soil and watershed which then ends up in rivers and oceans, which causes many animals to die.  SAVE ENERGY!!!
